We decided to give this place a try since we were heading into Best Buy for some electronics and electronic accessories.
We pulled up and there was plenty of parking space available but my boyfriend was a but he sista the because their grass hadn't been mowed in what looked like a while. I was really craving Mexican so in we go.
I really wanted to try the chilaquiles plate but I also wanted the Machacado plate. I ordered the ladder, which included egg scramble with dried meat, vegetables, a side of beans and sauced potatoes, and it came with a side of fresh flour tortillas.I asked the waitress if she could add a side of chilaquiles and she said YES. I was elated!
Let me tell you, everything was FREAKING AMAZING. The chilaquiles were made in the most authentic sauce I have ever tried in a restaurant. I was so happy she was able to accommodate my request.
The flour tortillas were bomb af. You could tell they were handmade.
The only thing I will complain about is the outer appearance as it needs more attention. Also, my bf asked for scrambled eggs and bacon. She cut rip the bacon and scrambled it into the eggs. It was ok, we still ate it, but come in who does that?!
Anyways, the price point was perfect, the food was great, and it surely satisfied my Mexican breakfast cravings. Win, win, win. -

We recently moved to this area and wanted to find a new favorite Mexican place to go to whenever we're in the mood for Mexican food. We've been here a couple of times and have tried different things and the food has always been good but the service not so much. Today was our fourth time here we figured since the place wasn't so packed that we'd get fast service. There were only two tables being used outside and four tables inside, with ours five. We passed two waitresses on the way to our table (it's seat yourself) and a man who I'm guessing is the manager/owner. Nobody said a word to us, that should've given us a red flag. We sat ourselves and waited for 15 minutes... and nobody came to our table to even offer us a menu or ask if we'd been served. The waitress we passed on our way inside repeatedly looked at our table yet not once asked if we needed anything , the other waitress cleaned the table beside ours and also didn't even look our way. Never in my life had I received such poor service , it's wasn't until we got up to leave that the waitresses looked at each other and whispered "did you not ask them if they wanted anything" safe to say we will NOT be returning here, you might have better luck ordering through DoorDash if you want better service

I love this place. I've had their tacos, tortas, enchiladas, you name it. I've never had an issue with service. Usually, when I go to small Mexican restaurants, I usually walk to the cash register to ask how service is done. It saves me from assuming they have bad service. They have a delicious agua de horchata. Their salsa roja is always warm. The green salsa, which is always my go-to at any place since it tends to be the spiciest, is in a container so I'm going to assume it's not fresh or made daily. Love the drive-thru addition too. Sometimes, I just order by phone and go through their drive-thru to pick it up. The owner is really nice and sweet as well. Love this place!

I really don't know why this place only has 3 stars! I give this place 5 stars!!! Their food is always good and plentiful! The staff is very nice and friendly, their outdoors seems like you are actually on a mini vacation. Very nice eclectic patio, it is great when the weather in Houston is good outside. I recommend the migas for the breakfast and add fresh cojita cheese if they have it and for lunch or dinner the al pastor quesadillas, very delicious! (pictured) Oh yeah & I forgot their Caldo de Res (not pictured) is a top fave, the boyfriend even likes it and orders it often there it is his super favorite and he is a gym rat so it is definitely a must try. This is easily one of my Top 5 Taquerias in Houston. I always order the same thing every time, beef fajita torta with yellow cheese and extra sour cream. All ingredients are tasty and meat is seasoned well. Chips come out warm and Salsa has just the right amount of heat. Can sodas are kept in the cooler so you don't have to worry about your Dr Pepper getting watered down when you pour it over ice!
